The Lake District’s loudest weekend is nearly upon us – and for its 20th year, Kendal Calling is going all out.

It’s official: the full stage splits for Kendal Calling 2025 have landed, along with a massive stack of 50 new names added to the bill. Whether you’re already dusting off the tent pegs or still stalking Tixel for a resale ticket, this year’s edition is shaping up to be one for the history books.

Main Stage Mayhem

Let’s start where the birthday candles are lit: the Main Stage. They’ve pulled together a monster line-up – we’re talking The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Courteeners, Kaiser Chiefs, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Wombats, The Lottery Winners, Travis, Fickle Friends, and loads more.

And yes, Tim Burgess will be swinging by for a special set with Helen O’Hara & the RNCM Session Orchestra – one for the scrapbook.

Parklands: A Party in Disguise

Over at Parklands, things are getting spooky. With a Halloween theme this year, it’s turning into a proper haunted hoedown with Daniel Bedingfield, Scouting for Girls, Maxïmo Park, and Pixie Lott keeping it live. Expect comedy, chaos, and the return of Bandaoke (you know you’ll end up on the mic).

When the sun dips, the DJs take over: Jaguar Skills, Charlie Tee, DJ Yoda, and more bring the rave to the grave.

Calling Out: New Blood, Big Energy

Always one for breaking future stars, Calling Out is stacked with emerging gold. Make space on your clashfinder for The Big Moon, Sports Team, Alfie Templeman, Divorce, The Guest List, and more. The late-night indie disco slots are run by Baggy Mondays and Shit Indie Disco, aka indie’s answer to the closing credits.

Into the Woods at Lost Eden

Want a more mystical vibe? Head for the Woodlands Stage under the treetops. Moonchild Sanelly, The Skints, Stone, Keo, Deco, and Freak Slug are all part of a genre-mashing line-up. Bonus: the Silent Disco is back and it’s still gloriously unhinged.

More Than Just Music

Kendal’s not just about tunes. Chai Wallahs brings its signature global beats, from funk to reggae to jazz. The Soapbox hosts comedy heavyweights like Lost Voice Guy and Justin Moorhouse, while Tim Peaks Diner is still the place for caffeine and cult sets.

There’s also a full town’s worth of sideshows – Desert Island Disco, Oktoberfest, Kids Calling, and a New Year’s Eve countdown in the Town Hall with tributes like Nic Cage Against The Machine and Happy Mondaze.

No Tickets? Tixel’s Your Best Bet

The fest sold out in record time, but the official resale partner Tixel is your go-to for last-minute swaps. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you – this one’s going to be huge.

🎂 20 Years Young, and Still Absolutely Buzzing

“It goes without saying that we can’t wait to get back on the Main Stage, playing to 40,000 of you lovely lot.” – Liam Fray, Courteeners

“We are a band who love any excuse for a party, so we’ll be bringing out all our big hits.” – Scouting for Girls

From indie royalty to field-filling chaos, Kendal Calling 2025 is proof that 20 never looked so good.

📍 Kendal Calling 2025 takes place 31 July – 3 August at Lowther Deer Park, Lake District.
