Bridgetown-born Americana star Emily Barker is set to grace UK stages in early 2025, bringing her acclaimed sound to fans across the country. With her sixth studio album Fragile As Humans released in May 2025, Barker embarks on a headline tour that promises a string of unforgettable performances.

Joined by her full band and supported by Liz Stringer, the tour kicks off on January 23rd at Belfast’s The Deer’s Head as part of the Out to Lunch Festival. Over the following weeks, Barker will captivate audiences at iconic venues such as Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club, Manchester’s Deaf Institute, and London’s Omeara.

A Respected Career

Emily Barker’s career is a testament to her talent and hard work. Hailing from Western Australia, Barker gained international recognition with her song “Nostalgia,” the haunting theme of the BBC’s Wallander. Her ability to craft poignant melodies has been praised by outlets like The Guardian and NPR, while The Australian lauded her music as “irresistibly catchy.”

In addition to her solo work, Barker has toured with legends like Frank Turner and Mary Chapin Carpenter, earning the 2018 UK Americana Artist of the Year award. Not only a talented musician, she recently published her first poetry collection, Where The Black Swans Swim, through Broken Sleep Books, further showcasing her creative depth.
